I know I am probably very late in posting about fashion month and what went down there, but better late then never..right?! On a serious note, this years spring/summer looks were all out. Every designer out did themselves. There were a lot of color, ruffles, patterns and etc..incorporated in the outfits. Moreover, I noticed a major focus on 90’s fashion with a new twist to the outfits.
- Slip on’s:
Go get your slip dresses on girls! Its been a trend for almost an entire season, however, this spring/summer season was all over the runway, almost all designers had it in there show from Burberry to Emilio Pucci to Celine to Saint Laurent.
From tables cloth patters to strips. Majority of designers showed some kind of print in there outfits.
- Vivid Colors:
I am not a color blocking person nor a lover of all bright outfit, however after this years spring/summer looks, I am all over the bright neon colors. Designers such as Gucci, Balmain, Christopher Kane and Dries Van Noten presented some amazing looks in new graphic effects.
Lace never fails to impress me. It literally never goes out of fashion, has always been there and always will be. Designers such as Elie Saab, Burberry and Dolce & Gabbana presented some amazing looks with the use of lace.
Micheal Kors, Roberto Cavalli, Miu Miu and other major designers used ruffles as key detail trend, some went for a minimalist look and others went all out.
- The 90’s:
90’s seems to be designers favorite era, we saw 90’s fashion in the past couple of catwalks. Designers from Saint Laurent to Alexander Wang incorporated 90’s fashion with a modern twist. I personally like the 90’s remixed looks, they look comfy and minimalist.
The backpack trend is literally everywhere, it’s all over social media, blogs and etc.. its the trend that everyone seems to love and cant stop talking about. They come in all shapes and sizes, they are infect more convent and easy to carry.
